Your Wedding Photographer

Something from me…….

"There is a certain magic in photographing a wedding. It is a day of high tension and drama and you have to keep a cool head to see yourself through it. You need to be mindfull of the people around you, constantly alert and aware of all that is going on. At all times you need to be on the lookout for shots of opportunity, to be clear and communicative, friendly and engaging, have a mental list of the images you want to create yet being open to new opportunities that present themselves. You have to be prepared and flexible enough to adapt to anything unexpected and confident enough in your ability and equipment to deliver no matter what."

"Creatively, digital photography has revolutionised wedding coverage. The freedom it provides is tremendous and it means there is no excuse not to be constantly looking for new shots, new angles and new ideas to try. A wedding is an uncontrolled event and digital imaging allows the photographer to be far more responsive to the ebbs and flows of the day. My only worry is that so many wedding photographers are stuck in the bad habits of film and continue to churn out repetitive, uninspiring work."

"When I am lucky enough to be invited to spend a couples wedding with them it never fails to strike me how much of a privilege it is to be part of the biggest day of their lives. To record so much happiness and joy is a real honour, one I try to keep earning every time I pick up my camera"
